The wife complained that their dog kept attacking her for no reason. The husband didn’t believe her and decided to install a camera to watch both his wife and the dog — but what he saw on the screen left him stunned. 😨😱
One morning, the wife came out of the bedroom looking utterly offended. She approached her husband, rolled up her sleeve, and showed a bluish-red mark on her arm.
“We need to take this wild dog to a shelter,” she said in a trembling voice.
“What happened?” the husband frowned.
“Today she bit me. And it’s not the first time. She keeps attacking me. I’m scared. We have to get rid of her.”
“No, that can’t be. We’ve had her for ten years. I’ve known this dog longer than I’ve known you. She’s always calm and affectionate.”
“So you think I’m lying? Look at the marks on my arms. She bit me. She’s rabid.”
“No, you must have provoked her somehow. Maybe stepped on her tail or something.”
“No, she’s just mean. That’s all there is to it.”
The husband couldn’t understand why the dog was suddenly behaving strangely. He had known her all her life — trusting, calm, loyal. But he also couldn’t completely disbelieve his wife — the marks on her skin were real. Still, something inside him felt uneasy. She had demanded the dog be given away too sharply, too insistently. And it had been happening far too often.
He replayed the conversation in his mind all day, feeling that his wife was hiding something. To find out the truth, he decided to install a camera in the kitchen, where the dog spent most of her time.
That evening, returning from work, he asked:
“Did she attack again today?”
“Yes, like every day this week. Let’s take her to the shelter tomorrow.”
“Okay… I’ll think about it.”
He went to the bedroom, closed the door, sat on the edge of the bed, and opened the camera app. The recording started, the screen flickered. He watched the first few seconds and felt a chill run through him. On the video, the dog did indeed lunge at his wife, barking loudly, grabbing her sleeve, tugging, biting.
But when he fast-forwarded the recording slightly, his breath caught. The dog wasn’t attacking his wife for no reason… 😨😱
The wife stood by the stove, placing a plate in front of her husband. She glanced around nervously, jumping every few seconds. Then she discreetly took a small vial from her pocket and shook it several times.
The dog immediately rushed over, growling, trying to grab her hand to stop her from leaning over the food.
The wife pushed the dog away with her foot, hissing:
“Go away!”
But the limping dog lunged again and bit at her sleeve, desperately pulling her away from the plate.
On the recording, it became clear: the wife was trying to add something to his food.
The husband sat frozen. His heart pounded as if trying to burst out of his chest. Now everything was clear. The dog wasn’t attacking — she was stopping her. She was protecting him.
And the wife knew it. That’s why she had been so insistent on getting rid of the “wild” dog.
