Andrew gave up his royal titles following accusations of ties with the controversial financier Jeffrey Epstein. The former prince is no longer allowed to sit at the same table as his brother, King Charles III, live in royal residences, and has effectively become an outcast within his own family. But the story doesn’t end there. Recently, new details emerged about what former Prince Andrew was really doing on his overseas trips. Revelations continue to surface.
The new scandalous information was shared by historian and author Andrew Lownie, whose recent book Entitled marked the first step in the case regarding the removal of Mountbatten-Windsor from the throne. In a recent interview, Lownie provided details about the former prince’s international travels.

According to Lownie, from 2001 to 2011, Andrew had a job that involved flying around the world in first class at the expense of British taxpayers, representing the trade interests of the United Kingdom. During these trips, however, he allegedly always found time for personal entertainment. Lownie explains that the British public essentially paid for his vacations, while Andrew would travel abroad to attend to his own private activities. By “activities,” Lownie claims that on at least two occasions during these foreign trips, Andrew spent days watching pornography and engaging with sex workers. These trips often took him to remote locations where he was far from public scrutiny. Only now have these details of his behavior come to light.

The historian recounted one specific trip: a visit to Hong Kong. “On one occasion, [Andrew] rented the top floor of the Landmark Hotel… and spent the weekend watching pornography and inviting prostitutes,” Lownie stated.
Andrew allegedly also entertained himself during trips to Mongolia, Kazakhstan, the Bahamas, Thailand, Laos, and Libya. According to Lownie, during just a few days in the Thai capital, the then-Duke reportedly invited “more than 40 women” to his hotel room.
