Mother-in-Law Wakes Me Up Rudely — My Morning Surprise Left Her Speechless!

At six in the morning, my mother-in-law ripped the blanket off her pregnant daughter-in-law and barked, “Get up, lazy! I’m hungry! How long are you going to lie there?” 😨😢

The first few months of pregnancy were already unbearable — constant nausea, weakness, sleepless nights. And on top of that, my mother-in-law made every day a living nightmare.

Every morning it was the same — complaints, mockery, insults. And if I dared to answer back, she’d immediately run to my husband, playing the victim and threatening to throw us out of the house.

That night, I barely slept. Around five in the morning, I finally started drifting off when her sharp voice cut through the silence like a knife:

— “Get up, lazy girl! I’m starving. Cook something instead of sleeping all day!”

I squeezed my eyes shut, fighting back tears.

— “Mom, I don’t feel well,” I whispered. “I’ve been sick all night.”

— “Keep your excuses to yourself!” she snapped. “Women in my day gave birth without whining!”

I dragged myself up and made her breakfast, but something inside me broke. I realized — this couldn’t go on. So I came up with a plan to finally teach her a lesson she’d never forget. 😈

That night, when everyone was asleep, I turned on a small speaker and played a recording — faint whispers, soft crying, quiet sighs. I kept the volume low, just enough to sound like distant voices.

At first, nothing happened. Then, I heard her bed creak in the next room — she was awake. The house was silent, yet from the kitchen came a quiet, muffled sound — like a woman weeping. The noise stopped, then came again — this time, a man’s faint voice joined in.

My mother-in-law sat up, her heart racing.

— “Who’s there?!” she shouted into the dark.

No answer. Just a soft tap on the wall… and silence again.

She didn’t sleep that night.

The next morning, she looked pale and shaken.
— “Did you hear someone talking last night?” she asked, her voice trembling.

I smiled sweetly.
— “No, Mom. I was up reading, but I didn’t hear a thing. Maybe you dreamed it?”

The next night, it happened again — whispers, quiet crying, soft knocks.

This time, she started crossing herself and whispering prayers. She thought her late husband’s spirit had come for her.

By dawn, her hands were trembling. She came to me with tears in her eyes.
— “I can’t take this anymore… there’s something in this house,” she said.

I looked at her calmly and replied,
— “Maybe it’s a sign from above. Maybe it’s time to be a little kinder to others.”

From that day on, she changed completely. No more yelling, no more complaints, no more early-morning wake-ups. Instead, she brought me tea and asked how I was feeling.

And at night? The house was finally silent. The voices were gone… because I had turned off the speaker. 😌
