From Love to Controversy — Just One Step! 😬 Meghan Markle, who recently caused a stir at Paris Fashion Week, has been criticized for her behavior in the City of Love. The Duchess of Sussex faced a wave of backlash after posting an Instagram video of herself riding in a limousine with her feet casually propped up. Everything might have seemed harmless — if not for the location of the filming.

The footage was shot near the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris — the very same spot where Princess Diana, Meghan’s late mother-in-law, tragically died in 1997. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams called the gesture both astonishing and extremely foolish, noting that the post appeared incredibly insensitive.

“I don’t understand what she was thinking — apparently, she wasn’t thinking at all. No advisor would ever suggest doing something so bizarre,” he sharply commented.
Social media users didn’t hold back either. Some accused Meghan of showing disrespect for Diana’s memory, while others claimed she was seeking attention at any cost. The outrage intensified because the video didn’t just feature the iconic tunnel but also other famous Paris landmarks, including the Alexandre III and Invalides bridges, giving the clip a glamorous but widely considered inappropriate tone.

So instead of a romantic weekend in Paris, Meghan found herself at the center of yet another scandal and wave of criticism. And while the Duchess is no stranger to the spotlight, this time it seems the glare hit harder than she might have expected.
