Fans of Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide were heartbroken to learn that Tylor Chase — the actor who played Martin Qwerly — had fallen on hard times. Now 36, Chase was recently found living on the streets of Los Angeles by influencer Citlalli Wilson, known online as Lethal Lalli.
After Wilson shared a video of their encounter, it quickly went viral, sparking an outpouring of emotion and a fundraiser that raised $1,207 to help Chase.

Wilson used the donations to buy clothes, shoes, and essentials, documenting the makeover in a touching video that showed her washing Chase’s hair on the sidewalk and helping him dress in his new outfit. “It’s a blessing to be used by God to help someone,” she wrote.

While many praised her compassion, others felt the gesture — though heartfelt — didn’t address Chase’s deeper struggles with homelessness and mental health. A source later revealed that Chase, who has spoken publicly about living with bipolar disorder, refuses medical treatment despite needing it more than financial support.

Still, Wilson’s act of kindness touched many. “He probably feels the love from everyone who remembers him,” one fan wrote. Another reflected sadly: “He was my first TV crush.”
Once a rising Nickelodeon star, Tylor Chase’s story has become a sobering reminder of how fleeting fame can be — and how compassion can still shine through the darkest moments. 💛
