British monarch Prince William, who shared memories of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, spoke candidly about the health of his father, Charles, and his wife, Kate Middleton.
In a video promoting the show The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy, William revealed that his family members rarely complained about health issues.

Many of his relatives lived into their 90s, so the news of cancer affecting King Charles III and the Princess of Wales shook him to his core.
“You suddenly realize that the rug can be pulled out from under you very quickly, at any moment,” William said.

Although he felt somewhat overwhelmed for a time, he didn’t allow negative thoughts to take over his mind. William tried to push away the worst-case scenarios, but it was difficult to cope.
“You think to yourself, ‘This won’t happen to us, we’ll be fine.’ I believe everyone has a positive outlook on life, so you have to stay positive. But when it happens to you, it leads to some of the toughest situations,” he concluded.
