Madonna revealed that at one point in 2023, she became very ill, lying unconscious for four days and being placed on a ventilator. It turned out that the star had a serious bacterial infection that caused complications, even leading to sepsis.
Later, she was able to start breathing on her own and returned to work, but recovery was not as straightforward as expected. Madonna couldn’t get out of bed due to extreme weakness and lack of energy. She felt utterly exhausted. However, she later followed the spiritual advice of her mentor, focusing not on self-pity but on proper rehabilitation.
In June 2024—one year after being discharged from the hospital—she announced on social media her “amazing recovery.”
