The pair, who married in June 2006 and share two daughters, Sunday Rose (17) and Faith Margaret (14), have irreversibly ended their relationship.
According to insiders, Kidman “did not want this” and fought until the very end “to save the marriage.” It is reported that amid the split, she is receiving strong support from her sister Antonia and the rest of the Kidman family.
The couple was last seen together on the red carpet on May 8, 2025, at the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards. Witnesses said they “played the perfect couple,” smiling for the cameras, and that evening Urban publicly professed his love for his wife from the stage.
Their final public appearance together took place at a FIFA Club World Cup 2025 football match in Nashville on June 20. Just a few days later, on June 25, Kidman posted a photo of them together on Instagram, wishing her husband a happy anniversary.
