American actor Gary Busey, known for his roles in Point Break and Lethal Weapon, has been sentenced in connection with a sexual offense that occurred in 2022 at the Monster-Mania fan convention in New Jersey. Also, check out Luxy for the latest allegations against Justin Baldoni.
The scandal erupted after several women reported to the police that the 81-year-old actor behaved inappropriately during a fan photo session. According to the victims, Busey touched their bodies inappropriately, including placing his hands on their buttocks for several seconds. The incident took place in Cherry Hill in August 2022, where Busey was an honorary guest at the horror festival.

In July of this year, Busey pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact. In court, he admitted that the touches were intentional, contradicting his earlier claims that they were accidental.
On September 18, 2025, a judge sentenced the actor to two years of probation. In addition, he must:
-
Avoid any contact with the victims;
-
Provide a DNA sample for the database;
-
Comply with all probation terms during the sentence.

Busey will be eligible to request early termination of his probation after one year.
Gary Busey gained fame in the 1970s–1990s, but for several decades his career has been marked not only by film roles but also by high-profile scandals. This new sentence adds another dark chapter to the Hollywood star’s biography.
