The man owned a modest farm a few kilometers from the city. He raised cows and chickens, lived a calm, measured life, and never imagined that his quiet property could hide something unusual beneath it.
One day, an earthquake struck. It wasn’t very strong, but the ground trembled noticeably—cows mooed nervously, and the chickens scattered in panic across the yard. When the farmer stepped outside, he noticed a crack had formed right on his property, next to a small collapse that led into a dark passage.
Curiosity and concern outweighed caution. Grabbing a flashlight, he decided to explore the newly formed tunnel. At first, he walked along a narrow path bordered by damp earthen walls, dripping with water. The smell of damp soil and decayed grass stung his nose, while murky rainwater trickled down the passage.
