The son came to his mother’s funeral only for the inheritance, but when he leaned over to say goodbye, he noticed a strange movement in the coffin 😱😱
The son stood by his mother’s coffin. He looked as if overcome with grief: eyes moist, hands slightly trembling. Family and neighbors gathered around, secretly watching him and nodding in sympathy. No one suspected that inside, his heart held not sorrow, but cold calculation.
He had long since drifted from his mother. He only called her when he needed money—and always had an excuse: a debt, a share in the business, problems at work. The mother trusted her only son, helping him without realizing that her kindness was being exploited. Then one morning, the son received bad news: his mother had suddenly passed away from a heart attack.

For the son, this was an opportunity. After her death, her business, house, and car would be his—there were no other heirs.
At the funeral, everyone cried: women hid their faces behind black veils, men stood solemnly, wiping away tears. Only the son remained indifferent. But for appearances, to maintain the image of a “loving son,” he approached the coffin. He leaned over his mother, feigned bitter sobs, and wiped away a nonexistent tear. People believed him, thinking he mourned deeply.
Inside, his thoughts were very different. “Finally, the end of your control—now everything is mine,” he thought, even smiling. To hide it, he leaned close to his mother’s face and whispered:
— “Now your money is mine… greedy witch.”

He was about to step back and return to his seat when he noticed a strange movement in the coffin and nearly fell from shock.
At first, he thought it was a trick of the eye—perhaps a slight twitch of her hand or folds of her clothing. But when his mother’s eyelids fluttered, his legs gave way.
The coffin seemed to come alive. The woman slowly opened her eyes, her gaze full of power. The onlookers gasped; some screamed, but no one could look away.
— “So, you really weren’t lying…” her voice was soft but clear. “You only want my money. And me… you hate. I heard everything.”

The son turned pale, gasping for breath, and recoiled, almost falling to the ground. It felt as if the earth had shifted beneath him. All eyes were on him, and his pretense was pointless.
It turned out the funeral had been staged. Doctors and close family knew about her “death.” She had survived the heart attack but decided to act differently—to test her son’s true character.
And now the truth was revealed to everyone. The one who had schemed to inherit her wealth was left with nothing.
The tears now were real—but not from grief, rather from terror and shame.
