Chanel Tapper entered the Guinness World Records back in 2010 as the woman with the longest tongue in the world. Since then, no one has managed to beat her record. Chanel’s tongue length is mind-blowing – it measures 9.65 centimeters.
The 34-year-old woman from California says she enjoys surprising people and watching their reactions when they see her unique feature.

“Honestly, the best reaction I can get when someone sees my tongue is a scream,” Tapper says. “I really love it when people scream or squeal in shock – and sometimes even in horror.”

Her extraordinarily long tongue allows Chanel to perform different tricks – like pulling out Jenga blocks or holding a spoon with it. This unique feature made her famous all over the world. She was even invited to appear in an advertisement for the fashion brand Diesel.

Studies show that the average tongue length for women is about 7.87 cm, and for men around 8.38 cm. So, our heroine truly has something to be proud of.
