Famous Hollywood actor George Clooney fell ill on the eve of the world premiere of his new film “Jay Kelly” at the Venice Film Festival. According to insiders, Clooney started feeling unwell as early as Wednesday. Doctors advised him to immediately go home and rest in order to have the strength for Thursday’s busy schedule.
Because of his illness, the actor was forced to cancel a press conference and a dinner with the film’s team, which includes director Noah Baumbach and co-star Adam Sandler.

Although the actor’s condition is not considered serious, his absence quickly became one of the main topics of discussion among journalists. A source reported that Clooney decided not to take any risks in order to fully recover before the premiere.
“He is very proud of the film and of the work done by Baumbach and the team,” the insider said.

The film “Jay Kelly” tells the story of a famous actor, played by Clooney. Together with his devoted manager, portrayed by Sandler, he embarks on a journey across Europe. According to the director, the movie is “about a man looking back at his life and reflecting on choices, sacrifices, achievements, and mistakes.”
