On the bus, an elderly woman kept glancing at the young man in a white tank top, staring at his tattooed arms, and then turning sharply toward the window, muttering under her breath.
The young man, wearing headphones, seemed completely detached — the music drowned out all the noise around him, and he didn’t notice the disapproving glances. But suddenly, the woman could no longer contain herself:
“Kids these days! Why do you cover your bodies with all that devilry?” she exclaimed loudly.
He calmly removed one earbud and asked politely,
“Grandma, is something wrong?”
She mocked him:

“I haven’t done anything to you,” he replied calmly. “This is my body, and I have the right to do with it as I wish.”
