A huge Alabai dog was lying right in the middle of the road, blocking drivers and causing a traffic jam. One of the drivers approached the dog and saw something shocking 😱😱
It was rush hour. Nearly 40 degrees Celsius outside. Drivers were losing their patience — the traffic had been stopped for thirty minutes, all because of this huge white Alabai lying in the middle of the road.
The dog looked like a stone. It didn’t move or react to the honking. It just calmly stared at the passing cars, as if guarding something.
One nervous, sweaty driver shouted out the window:
— That’s an Alabai! It could bite someone in half! Who’s going to approach it?! Call the police!
No one stepped forward. Two cars failed to avoid each other and bumped, glass shattered, bumpers cracked, and curses flew. But the dog just lay there. Huge, white, with a piercing gaze.
Suddenly, the door of a cheap foreign car opened. A tall, slender man in a white shirt, clearly an office worker, sighed and walked up to the Alabai. Everyone watched, holding their breath.
The dog slowly got up — massive paws, shaggy back. It stood on its hind legs. Someone inside a car yelled:
— That’s it! It’s done for!
The man covered his eyes in fear, but then noticed something terrifying 😱
He stepped back but then saw: the dog’s belly was swollen and heavy. She was pregnant. He noticed her paws trembling. Her eyes were no longer threatening — they held pain.
He stepped closer, cautiously extended his hand. And something incredible happened — the Alabai quietly lowered herself onto her front paws and pressed her nose into his palm.
The man turned to the drivers and shouted:
— She’s in trouble! She’s not aggressive, she just… she can’t go on anymore!
Someone called a vet. Others came out with bottles of water. People brought rags, pillows, and one even brought an umbrella. Within an hour, the Alabai was carefully loaded into a car, and the road cleared.
But the story didn’t end there.
Three weeks later, the same man who first approached received a letter. Inside was a photo: five snow-white puppies in a small cozy shelter.
On the back was written:
“She survived. And she’s grateful. The puppies will be waiting for their hero. If you want one of them — just say the word. We named one after you.”
