A couple whose large age gap has often sparked intense online debate has joyfully announced the upcoming arrival of their first child.
63-year-old Cheryl and her 26-year-old husband Quran gained widespread attention for their unconventional relationship. The two first met when Quran was just 15, but their romance didn’t begin until years later, when they reconnected at a gas station—by then, Quran was 23. They began dating in April 2021 and tied the knot in September of the same year, later sharing their journey on joint social media accounts.
Despite their happiness, Cheryl’s children are not supportive of the marriage. “I have seven kids, but only one supports us. It breaks my heart,” Cheryl admitted, adding that out of her 18 grandchildren, she only sees three.
Recently, Cheryl and Quran announced that they had found a surrogate and are eagerly expecting a baby. Cheryl shared the news on TikTok, posting ultrasound photos along with the update.
Quran expressed his excitement, saying, “I cried tears of joy when I found out. This will be my first child, and I’ve never felt a love like this—except when I married Cheryl. It doesn’t matter if it’s a boy or a girl. I’m going to be a parent, and we’re starting our family together. Blood doesn’t make a family; Cheryl will be the best mom.”
