Hulk Hogan was married to Linda Claridge for 26 years. Together, they raised two children — 33-year-old Brooke and 31-year-old Nick. The couple split in 2009, and since then, Linda has remained single. She has openly admitted that her relationship with the wrestler was far from easy.
Brooke Hogan publicly accused both of her parents of narcissism several times and went years without speaking to her father. Still, she managed to share her feelings with him before his passing.
In September 2023, just two weeks before Hulk married his third wife, Sky, he had his final phone call with Brooke. During the emotional conversation, Brooke told her father that she loved him. She also urged him to slow down due to his declining health.
The wrestler apologized to his daughter during that call. Brooke expressed genuine concern for her father’s well-being, but reconciliation proved impossible — they never spoke again after that.
Brooke learned of her father’s death on Thursday morning when her brother Nick texted the news to her husband, NHL player Steven Oleksy. Steven had made multiple efforts to help Brooke reconnect with her father, especially after a traumatic childbirth where she nearly died delivering twins.
“Hulk reacted coldly and made no effort to meet Brooke’s children. It seemed he wanted a relationship with her only on his own terms, even though their estrangement weighed on him,” an insider shared.
Linda paid tribute to her former husband by sharing a few archival photos of them hugging and smiling together. “The good old days,” she captioned them.
