Liam Neeson recently revealed that the heat between him and Pamela Anderson on the set of The Naked Gun got so intense that their intimacy coordinator had to leave the room! The 73-year-old actor, starring alongside Anderson in the upcoming reboot of the comedy classic, joked that the scenes were “too hot to handle.”
Neeson, who’s previously admitted he’s “madly in love” with Anderson, said even though they had a professional on set to oversee their steamy scenes, the coordinator eventually gave up, exclaiming, “I can’t take this! I’m going for coffee!”
While sparks flew on screen, Anderson clarified that their chemistry remains strictly professional off camera. “We definitely have a sincere and loving connection,” she said, “but Liam is a friend forever.”
Despite rumors, the Baywatch beauty confirmed there’s no off-screen romance, adding that they kept things “professionally romantic” by hosting dinner nights with their assistants during filming.
With The Naked Gun hitting UK cinemas on August 1, both stars hope audiences will appreciate the laughs and fiery chemistry. As Neeson said best: “We could all use a good giggle.”
