Despite facing the challenge of retraining her voice due to a stutter, Stacey Leadbetter, a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent, earned the coveted Golden Buzzer from KSI during Saturday’s episode.

The 31-year-old grocery store worker wowed both the judges and the crowd with a moving rendition of Leona Lewis’ hit “Run.” The audience in Blackpool erupted with cheers of “Push the buzzer!” and judge Amanda Holden, 54, praised Stacey as “incredible.”

Before stepping onto the BGT stage, Stacey had only performed once and struggled with severe speech difficulties. “It was really tough,” she shared. “I have a video from four or five years ago where I’m singing, but it’s barely understandable because of my stutter. During lockdown, I’d watch adult speech therapy videos on YouTube and use what I learned to help me sing.”

She added, “If I skip my voice exercises for even a few weeks, I can start slipping back into old habits.”

Her inspiring performance is now being shared widely—so after watching, don’t forget to spread the word about this powerful voice and remarkable journey.
