In 2020, a compassionate man named Gilbert rescued a sick and helpless fox he found on the side of the road. The animal was in terrible shape, infested with 149 parasites, but thanks to Gilbert and a group of kind-hearted helpers, she recovered completely.

A year later, when Gilbert himself underwent eye surgery and faced a long recovery, something magical happened. The very same fox returned—this time, to offer him comfort.

Though wild foxes rarely show such affection, this one curled up beside Gilbert on his bed and let him gently stroke her, as if she sensed he needed healing too.
Gilbert, known for his work in animal welfare, said her visits lifted his spirits more than words could express. Despite being released into the wild, the fox continues to return to the people who once saved her life—proving that kindness never goes unnoticed.
