After battling diabetes, Duffy the dog sadly lost his vision and could no longer see the people he loved most.
But in a heartwarming turn of events, the rescued Irish Terrier underwent successful eye surgery last June — and cameras captured the unforgettable moment he laid eyes on his family again.
With his tail wagging furiously and joy radiating from him, Duffy looked at his loved ones in awe, as if he couldn’t believe his luck.
“He did amazing today,” one of the veterinarians can be heard saying in the video, as Duffy lets out excited squeals. “He’s such a good boy.”
Since the footage was shared online, Duffy has had many joyful moments with his family, making the most of his restored vision.
