The moment was captured and shared by Professor Mahmut Bilen, who awarded Berru Merve Kul and her mother, Havva Kul, during a moving ceremony. Havva was honored for her unwavering support—reading lecture notes aloud throughout Berru’s four-year law degree.
The story quickly gained traction online. A post on Reddit earned over 58,000 upvotes, while a viral tweet calling Havva the “mother of the year” surpassed 88,000 likes. Others chimed in, saying she deserves to be called “mother of the century.”
