When it came time to find a cabinet for her newly renovated dacha, our heroine stumbled upon a true “gem” just a short distance from her home. Some might call it luck, others fate, but she took it as a sign and decided to keep it.
Although it had been discarded by someone else, she recognized its hidden potential and was eager to customize it to her taste. Surprisingly, the cabinet dated back to the 1970s—a time when furniture was built to last and offered great durability.
Her first step was to wash the cabinet thoroughly and gently sand the surfaces, especially the edges. Luckily, the cabinet’s condition was quite good, so the structure itself didn’t need major changes. After sanding, she removed dust and wiped everything down with alcohol.
Next, she used a roller to apply three coats of paint. The door was painted white, achieving the perfect look after four layers. To finish, she decorated the door with a stencil. The stunning final result went far beyond everyone’s expectations.
