Tiny Kitchen, Huge Transformation: I Took the Risk — and the Results Left Everyone Speechless! (Before/After Photos)

Today’s story is all about how I transformed my cramped and gloomy kitchen into a completely refreshed space that amazed everyone — even though I had limited funds and resources. While the changes weren’t drastic, they made a huge difference in creating a brighter and more inviting room.

Originally, the upper cabinets were awkwardly slanted, so I decided to remove them altogether in the redesign. One challenge I faced was a lack of tiles for the top row — but luckily, the missing ones were hidden behind the refrigerator.

My incredibly patient dad supported my wild idea to carefully remove those hidden tiles and reuse them. We ended up taking out more than we needed, and I accidentally damaged one tile while soaking it to clean off the leftover adhesive.

As for the walls, we first evened them out with standard Volma plaster, then finished them with a smoother layer before painting them bright white. I gave the radiator a bold upgrade too — using glossy black spray paint from KUDO, my go-to brand after testing several options during various renovations.

For me, small imperfections like slightly uneven walls don’t matter. What counts most is that the space feels warm, welcoming, and filled with character.

We kept it simple and practical by ordering the kitchen set from a local furniture manufacturer — and honestly, the results speak for themselves.
