The owner of this recently renovated apartment is a young blogger who has lived here her entire life. Rather than relocating, she chose to completely revamp the dated interior of this 1960s-era home — and the results are stunning.
The first step was replacing the entrance door. To visually open up the space, the walls were painted white, while the floors were upgraded with large-format porcelain tiles for durability and a modern touch.
Just to the right of the entrance, there’s a chic console table, a mirror, and a compact ottoman in a vibrant turquoise tone. A wardrobe with mirrored doors fits perfectly into a nearby niche, offering stylish storage for outerwear.
The original entrance to the kitchen was sealed, and access was redirected through the living room via elegant French-style sliding doors. The kitchen floor and backsplash were finished with porcelain stoneware, and a beige corner kitchen unit was installed for functionality and style.
The living room serves as a central hub, connecting to every room in the apartment except the bathroom. By removing the old balcony partition and installing French-style glass doors, the space now enjoys an abundance of natural light.
Along one wall is a comfortable fold-out sofa, perfect for hosting guests. Across from it sits a cozy entertainment area featuring a TV and a faux fireplace.
The bedroom, accessed through the living room, features tiffany-colored walls, classic laminate flooring, and decorative moldings with mirrors. A plush double bed in pink upholstery takes center stage and includes a lift-up mechanism for hidden storage.
Flanking the bed are matching bedside tables and a custom-made dressing table. A fully functional walk-in closet was also added, complete with power outlets and ventilation.
Lastly, the bathroom was merged with the toilet into a single, efficient 6-square-meter space. The floors are covered with matte porcelain tiles, while the walls are adorned with glossy tile and decorative mosaics.
