For his mother’s birthday, today’s hero decided to fulfill her lifelong dream by purchasing a one-room apartment, although its original condition was far from ideal. Still, he had a vision to refresh and perfect the space.

The apartment spans about 35 square meters and is located in a panel building from 1968. Despite its small size, the kitchen is relatively roomy, measuring 10 square meters. The first major task was stripping the ceiling paint, which required strong chemicals to fully clean the concrete slab.

Next, they removed the partition separating the hallway and the room and replaced it with a new plasterboard wall. Electrical wiring, radiators, doors, and plumbing were also updated. The transformation was so dramatic that the apartment became almost unrecognizable, with truly stunning results.
