American superstar Taylor Swift has been targeted by a relentless fan with a troubling history. The man, Brian Jason Wagner, previously served time in prison. During his incarceration, he became obsessed with Taylor, writing her lengthy letters filled with wild claims—like insisting the singer was the mother of his child—and bizarre stories about her personal life that shocked even Swift herself.
After his release, the 45-year-old Wagner’s behavior escalated. He began showing up uninvited at Taylor’s Los Angeles home multiple times. In July last year alone, he visited at least three times, once bringing a glass bottle that could have been used as a weapon. Earlier this May, Wagner came repeatedly over several days, requesting meetings and telling Taylor’s security guards he was visiting a friend. Upon investigating, her security team uncovered Wagner’s criminal record and alarming behavior.

Taylor, famous for hits like “You Belong with Me,” revealed that Wagner’s letters contained threatening language and that he even tampered with the address on his driver’s license, fraudulently listing her home as his own.
Faced with this dangerous situation, Taylor took legal action. Last Friday, she filed for protection, and by Monday, the court granted her a restraining order. The temporary injunction requires Wagner to stay at least 100 meters away from Taylor, her residence, workplace, and car.

Despite the ordeal, Taylor assures she has never met or communicated with Wagner. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time the pop icon has dealt with stalkers—she has previously faced threats from others as well.
Currently, Taylor is happily dating Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce. Just this past weekend, the couple attended the wedding of Travis’s cousin Tanner Corum and Samantha Peck in Nashville. Taylor dazzled in a strapless blue floral dress by Markarian worth $1,995 and paired it with brown leather heels.
