The iconic British rock band is currently on a world tour and performing shows in the City of Sin. Coldplay’s concert at Allegiant Stadium was unexpectedly attended by Celine Dion. Since revealing her diagnosis in 2022 — Stiff Person Syndrome — the singer has been living a reclusive life. This rare neurological disorder causes muscle rigidity and painful spasms that come and go, often worsening over time. That’s why Celine’s appearance at the concert took everyone by surprise.
Dion looked elegant in a white shirt with a black polka-dot tie and a gray three-piece suit. The sharply tailored business-style outfit highlighted the singer’s slender figure. Her makeup emphasized her eyes with nude lip gloss, and her hair was styled in a sleek low bun.
At one point, the camera focused on the star of the film “Love Again”, showing her face in close-up on the big screens. The audience erupted in loud cheers and applause upon seeing the five-time Grammy winner. Celine stood up from her seat and warmly waved to the crowd. Moved by the reception, she placed her hand over her heart in gratitude.
Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin spoke touchingly about his colleague:
“Oh, Celine, my beautiful sister. You make my heart beat stronger and stronger. Near or far, you’re a true superstar. Let’s give a warm welcome to the legendary Celine Dion!” sang the “Fix You” songwriter.
At the concert’s finale, Martin invited Dion on stage. They also posed together backstage after the show. The Eurovision 1988 winner brought along her sons with the late René Angélil — 24-year-old René-Charles and 14-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy.
It appears the singer has gained control over her incurable illness and is now feeling proudly better. A video went viral online showing her joyfully dancing in the stands to one of Coldplay’s songs. The “Where Does My Heart Beat Now” singer shared the footage with Dakota Johnson’s ex-fiancé and his colleagues.
“What an unforgettable night with Coldplay at Allegiant Stadium… My heart is still singing! Huge thanks to the band and their wonderful team for welcoming my family with warmth and kindness. It was simply fantastic,” noted the Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
