The Hollywood star with Australian roots attended the premiere of her new series, Nine Perfect Strangers. For the Los Angeles red carpet, Nicole Kidman chose a business-inspired outfit with a glamorous twist, thanks to fabric adorned with sparkling rhinestones. Underneath the fitted blazer featuring a daring plunging neckline, the actress opted to go braless. The jacket was accented with a white flower on the lapel and contrasting cuffs. The matching trousers were also embellished with rhinestones.
The outfit perfectly highlighted Kidman’s slender figure. She completed the look with black leather gloves and pointed stilettos. The Oscar winner kept accessories minimal, wearing only white gold earrings with tiny diamonds. Her makeup was flawless—defined eyeliner, curled lashes, a light blush, and nude lipstick. Her hair was styled into a casual high ponytail, with loose strands framing her face.
Annie Murphy also made an appearance at the premiere. The 38-year-old actress wore an off-the-shoulder black dress with long sleeves. She was joined by Christine Baranski, 73, who looked elegant in a white suit featuring a whimsical blazer and a floor-length skirt. Actor Henry Golding, 38, looked stylish in a beige suit, white shirt, and black loafers. Australian actor Murray Bartlett, 54, known for The White Lotus, also joined the second season of Nine Perfect Strangers and attended in a trendy dark blue suit with loose-fitting trousers.
The second season of the series is set in the Austrian Alps and follows a group of people attending a multi-day wellness retreat. Leading them is Russian guru Masha Dmitrichenko (played by Nicole Kidman), who uses psychedelic therapy as a method of healing. “Over the course of the week, Masha pushes them to their limits. Can they handle it? Can she? Masha is willing to do whatever it takes to heal the group—herself included.”
Kidman’s career is on a high. Last year, she starred in the blockbuster A Special Kind of Bad, the romantic comedy Family Affair, and the series A Perfect Pair and Lionesses. In March, she presented the film Holland, Michigan at the SXSW Film and TV Festival. However, her busy schedule has reportedly upset her husband, Australian country singer Keith Urban, who feels she isn’t spending enough time with him and their daughters.
