Demi Moore visited The Drew Barrymore Show, where she and Drew fondly reminisced about filming the 2003 movie Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, in which they both starred. During the conversation, Demi revealed a surprising condition she had before agreeing to shoot her iconic beach scene in a bikini — she asked the director not to film her from behind.
“All I remember is begging them not to show my butt. I don’t know why that became such an obsession for me,” Demi admitted.

The Hollywood star explained she had less than a month to prepare for the role. “You know, he called me to say that filming would start in three and a half weeks,” Moore said of the movie’s director, Joseph McGinty Nichol. “And I didn’t really have time to think about how I looked.”

Drew Barrymore was shocked by her co-star’s comment, noting that Moore looked absolutely stunning. “No one could do what you did in three weeks. You were clearly already in incredible shape. There’s no magic wand that gets you there that fast. I was dieting for three weeks and didn’t even come close,” Barrymore praised.
Moore also shared that she was caught off guard by the massive attention the film — and her role — received after its release. She believes it was largely due to her age at the time. “I think I wasn’t prepared for the kind of spotlight the film brought. I had no idea it would be such a big deal — strangely, I think it was mostly because I was 40,” she reflected.
