It seems the Prince Harry drama has officially become the royal saga of the 21st century. Just as the world began to move on from his bestselling memoirs and his ongoing “cold war” with the royals, Harry has resurfaced — this time with a new interview and the same old grievances. Though his tone appears softer, claiming he wants to reconcile with his family, insiders aren’t convinced.

According to palace sources, the royal family’s patience has worn thin. Harry’s “whining,” they say, no longer stirs sympathy. He’s reportedly been “banned,” not just due to broken trust, but also because of lingering suspicions toward his wife, Meghan Markle.
“They don’t trust either of them,” insiders close to King Charles revealed. “Forgiveness may be possible, but forgetting? Never.”

Author and royal family friend Hugo Vickers believes Harry’s latest remarks only widened the rift. “I completely understand the royal family,” Vickers said. “Harry is just like his mother. I once saw a letter Prince Philip wrote to Diana saying, ‘Every time Charles talks to you, That’s exactly what’s happening again.”

And the cherry on top? According to Vickers, Harry continues to complain instead of apologize — even after losing his legal case over security protection in the UK. What’s more painful is that Harry himself once wrote about King Charles pleading with him not to ruin his final years. “In Spare, Harry said his father told him: ‘Don’t make my last years a misery’ — and that’s exactly what he’s done.”
“Enough with the ‘me, me, me,’” Vickers added. “The King has enough on his shoulders. He doesn’t need a whiny son.”
Does Harry still have a chance? Maybe. But one thing is clear — the doors of the palace no longer open so easily.
