During Season 17 of America’s Got Talent, 23-year-old Drake Milligan took the stage with his band and wowed both judges and audience with his original track, “Sounds Like Something I’d Do.” The crowd erupted from the first note, and the judges gave unanimous yeses.
Simon Cowell praised the catchy tune and Milligan’s charm, while Heidi Klum highlighted the refreshing addition of a full band to the competition.
Hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, Milligan credits Elvis Presley as his childhood inspiration to pursue music — sparked by seeing an Elvis impersonator at age seven. That moment launched his dream of becoming a performer.
Drake is already making waves:
