Hollywood’s former bachelor, George Clooney, shocked many when he unexpectedly married lawyer and human rights advocate Amal in 2014. Three years later, the couple welcomed twins: Ella and Alexander. Throughout their relationship, the couple has managed to avoid any public conflicts, and their marriage appears to be flawless.
Now, Clooney has confirmed that their marriage is, in fact, as harmonious as it seems. During an appearance on CBS Mornings with Gail King, the actor of “Lonely Wolves” reflected on a conversation he had with King two years ago.
“I remember saying back then that we hadn’t had any arguments. And we still haven’t! We’re still trying to find a reason to fight!” Clooney laughed.
The actor didn’t hold back in expressing his deep admiration for his wife.
“I feel incredibly lucky to have met this amazing woman. I feel like I hit the jackpot! There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think I’m the happiest person in the world. So it’s great,” Clooney shared.
Recently, George revealed that he made a decision that could make his wife upset—one he took for the sake of his latest project.
The actor put up an “intimate” dinner with himself for auction, intending to raise a large sum for charity. Bidding is open until August 20.
