Rumors about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s divorce have been circulating for a while. Although the couple is still together, sources close to them say the divorce process is in its final stages. Apparently, there’s no turning back: Will and Jada have quietly begun selling off assets and dividing their finances.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have been married since 1997. In October 2023, the actress revealed that they’ve been living separately for six years. According to friends, one of the most critical issues has been dividing their assets, as the couple has accumulated significant wealth over their 28 years of marriage.
As reported by the media, Will and Jada are selling their properties to address financial matters before officially announcing their divorce. The couple has already sold their Baltimore estate and put their Los Angeles home on the market. They purchased the property 15 years ago for $910,000, and it is now listed for $2 million.
In addition to their joint properties in Malibu and Calabasas, the couple also owns separate homes, though these have not been listed for sale yet.
However, friends of the couple confirm that there is no turning back when it comes to the divorce.
“The marriage ended years ago, it was just a formality. The fact that they’re now selling homes and dividing their finances is a clear sign that the marriage is over, despite any lingering doubts,” said sources close to the couple.
