Megan Markle is experiencing significant health challenges following the birth of her child.

Megan Markle, who recently shared childhood photos, opened up about serious health issues she faced after giving birth.

While some women experience postpartum depression, rectal issues, and other conditions, the wife of Prince Harry revealed she was among those diagnosed with a particularly serious condition.

In the Confessions of a Female Founder podcast, Megan admitted that she was diagnosed with preeclampsia after childbirth.

Preeclampsia is a combination of high blood pressure and excess protein in the urine. Common symptoms include severe headaches, swelling, heartburn, and general malaise.

“I had postpartum preeclampsia. It’s so scary. You try to keep going with your day, and the world has no idea what’s going on when you’re alone,” Megan shared.

She did not specify which of her two pregnancies led to this difficult experience. Currently, Markle is not commenting on her health status.

It’s important to note that preeclampsia is a serious complication that increases the risk of hypertension, diabetes, coronary artery disease, seizures, stroke, and kidney and liver problems.
