Famous Hollywood actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, known for films like Fast & Furious, Fast & Rio Heist, The Scorpion King, and others, narrowly escaped a plane crash. Just recently, Hollywood could have lost a movie star. Dwayne shared with his fans how he was planning to fly from Hawaii, where he lives, to Houston, Texas, for a football game. Instead, the 52-year-old actor found himself thanking the Universe and God for surviving. Johnson explained that just 35-40 minutes into the flight, the pilot approached him with a troubling message.
“He kneels down, turns to face me, face-to-face, and the only people on the plane are myself and the crew. He says, ‘Mr. Johnson, I’m sorry to inform you, but we cannot continue the flight over the ocean,'” the actor recalled.
The pilot announced that there was an unforeseen issue, and they had to turn back and land in Hawaii. It turned out to be a problem with the hydraulics and overheating. The pilot added, “There are problems we can solve while we’re in the air, but there are also problems we won’t take risks with, especially over the ocean.”
The actor also expressed deep gratitude for the pilot’s actions and admitted that the situation made him reflect on what truly matters in life.
“The bottom line is, I’m grateful to be back on solid ground, grateful to be home in Hawaii. I appreciate God, the Universe… I took it as a sign from God and the Universe,” the actor concluded.
