Gwyneth Paltrow Takes a Subtle Dig at Meghan Markle: “Finally, No More Fakeness!”

Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow mocks Meghan Markle: “Finally, no more pretending.”

Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle show, “With Love, Meghan,” has sparked controversy. The show, which features episodes about her life, friends, and recipes, has received mixed reviews. Gwyneth Paltrow took things a step further, subtly mocking Markle’s apparent insincerity.

The show, produced and hosted by Meghan Markle, has faced significant criticism. While the Duchess promised an honest and open lifestyle show, it was filmed in a rented house, not the home where she lives with Prince Harry. Critics argue that the show feels empty, dull, and fake, with Meghan, a billionaire, showing viewers how to make candles. Guests appear only to praise her.

In response, Gwyneth Paltrow posted a video of herself preparing breakfast at her own home in Montecito, subtly referencing Markle’s show. The video featured details that echoed Meghan’s, such as a monogrammed mug, a pet, and similar background music. However, Paltrow’s approach was simple, honest, and elegant, setting it apart from Meghan’s show.

“My healthier version of a classic breakfast: gluten-free buttermilk biscuits, slightly imperfect eggs with a runny yolk, and crispy bacon,” Paltrow captioned the video.

Fans quickly noticed the similarities and supported Paltrow, saying:

“This is how it’s done, Meghan! Finally, no more fakeness!” “Love this. No fake house, fake kitchen, fake extensions, fake friends—just your beautiful, real self. A breath of fresh air.” “Wait, wait… when making breakfast, aren’t you supposed to wear all the diamonds, Cartier, and a white sweater?” “This is her actual kitchen! Beautiful!” “This is what authenticity looks like. Take notes, Meghan, if you want to be even half as successful as Gwyneth.”

Of course, some negative comments followed, with users noting that women shouldn’t attack or compete with one another. However, many felt Meghan Markle deserved similar criticism. Shortly after Paltrow’s video, Meghan posted her own “simple” cooking video with a friend. But few believed in the Duchess’s sincerity.
