Jennifer Lopez made a striking appearance at the premiere of Othello in New York, attending the event alongside her daughter. The Hustlers star chose a daring outfit that highlighted her toned physique.
She wore a black cropped long-sleeve top paired with a flared floor-length skirt featuring a train, embellished with sparkling rhinestones. The ensemble was complemented by a short faux fur coat, a leather clutch, and platform sandals. Her makeup featured soft, sandy eye shadows and a nude gloss for her lips, while her hair was sleekly styled into a tight, creative bun.
The singer of On the Floor accessorized with bold statement earrings, adding extra sparkle with a Bombe ring featuring a diamond from Briony Raymond’s 1960s-style collection, as well as a cocktail ring and an octagonal multi-layered bracelet from Estate Diamond.
Her daughter, Emme, opted for a more businesslike style with a gray shirt, black-and-white tie, and a pinstriped black pantsuit. She completed the look with patent leather shoes, multiple earrings and rings, a pearl necklace, and a small gold watch brooch on her blazer’s lapel. Emme’s curly hair was styled in a playful tousled fashion, and she finished her outfit with black-framed glasses.
Jennifer and her ex-husband Marc Anthony, a singer and actor, share twins Emme and Max, though Max avoids the spotlight. The couple divorced in 2014 after ten years of marriage. Later, Jennifer concluded her divorce from Ben Affleck in 2023 after two years of marriage.
The new Othello production was directed by Kenny Leon, with Denzel Washington playing Othello and Jake Gyllenhaal portraying the villainous Iago. The premiere in the Big Apple saw appearances from former U.S. President Joe Biden and his wife Jill, along with other stars like Katie Holmes, Angela Bassett, Ariana DeBose, Jamie Lee Curtis, Samuel L. Jackson, Nicole Scherzinger, Colman Domingo, Anna Wintour, and Spike Lee.
