41-year-old Alejandra Silva, the wife of Richard Gere, shared a series of photos from their family trip. Fans of the actor were particularly touched by one photo where Richard is seen with his sons — 5-year-old Alexander and 4-year-old James. In the picture, all three lean their heads toward each other, with the younger son tenderly kissing his father on the cheek while the older one eagerly waits for his turn to do the same. Alejandra captioned the photo: “We love daddy so much!”
It was recently revealed that Richard and Alejandra just returned from their travels, having visited various parts of the world, including Switzerland, the Maldives, and Mexico. Now, the whole family — the couple and their two sons — are back home. However, in the full sense of the word, “home” means Spain for Silva, who was born and raised there. Gere, who moved to his wife’s homeland last year, now feels completely at home in Madrid.
Richard recently shared that he has never been happier in his life. He truly has everything: a beautiful wife, 34 years younger than him, and beloved children. Not to mention that he is satisfied with his long and successful career, which allows him to live the life he wants. Gere explained that when Silva, who spent the first seven years of their marriage in the U.S. with him, expressed a desire to return to Spain, he immediately began making plans for their move. Last fall, they bought a historic home in the center of Madrid for $4 million, without haggling, and relocated there. Now, the entire family, including the boys, enjoys life in Spain. The actor’s sons, who spoke both English and Spanish fluently from the start, are especially happy there. And Gere is on cloud nine simply because his wife and children are so content.
