Initially, the owners intended to buy a newly built apartment, but budget constraints led them to choose a Stalin-era building instead. The 80-square-meter space was in a dreadful state, requiring a complete overhaul.
Rather than spending more on a modern property, the couple opted to invest in a major renovation, ultimately pouring around $50,000 into transforming the apartment.
The layout was redesigned to include a sleek kitchen with crisp white walls, a chic dark-toned bar area, and a cozy living room featuring an emerald-green sofa. A round dining table creates an inviting dining space, while the balcony was revamped for relaxing evenings.
The minimalist bedroom boasts a striking black accent wall and a double bed, complemented by a spacious walk-in closet. The biggest highlight? A luxurious hammam-style bathroom, which the owners say was their best design decision.
