Here’s how the kitchen looked before the makeover – and it was already in the midst of renovations. The utilities were replaced, new floors were installed, and other small fixes were underway. The broken sink, old metal dish racks, and Soviet-era tiles were a clear indication that the space hadn’t seen an update in about 50 years.
While the old furniture and materials were durable, it’s hard to imagine anything lasting that long today. However, the kitchen had a “worn-out” feel, with outdated finishes. One particularly odd feature was the double kitchen mixer, and the placement of the radiators—stacked one above the other, with one right above the kitchen table, making for a strange look.
But after the renovation, the transformation was nothing short of amazing. The space became compact, functional, and stylishly modern. The materials and colors chosen for the furniture blended together perfectly, giving the kitchen a fresh, inviting look.
Though the kitchen is only 4.5 square meters, it managed to fit a hob, refrigerator, and even a dishwasher. The fridge found the perfect spot, making the space incredibly functional. It’s truly unbelievable how this small kitchen turned into a practical and comfortable space, perfect for any cook. Still, a few minor touches, like the excess magnets on the fridge or the silver ribbon dividing the zones, could use a bit of tweaking.
