Kanye West and his wife could soon face backlash at multiple US restaurants after the couple was criticised for their revealing outfits.
Bianca Censori, Kanye West’s 29-year-old wife, caused quite a stir when she accompanied her husband to dinner in Los Angeles. The Australian architect wore a mini-top that barely covered her body, shocking passers-by. Now, several establishments are considering banning the controversial couple.
“If I ran the establishment these two were going to enter, I would tell them, out of respect for my guests, that they are not allowed in,” one businessman wrote online. Others are concerned about the example public figures are setting for younger audiences and want to protect children from such performances. “I would not allow them in my restaurant. This is completely inappropriate and sets a bad example for young children who see this everywhere. What is wrong with them?” added another restaurant owner.
A third commenter found Kanye and Bianca’s appearance completely ridiculous. He noted that some supermarkets put up signs in the summer asking customers to wear shirts for hygiene reasons and prohibiting shirtless men from entering. Many Internet users expressed their displeasure, recalling the times when establishments had a strict dress code and guests were not allowed in without a tie.
“No self-respecting restaurant owner or manager should let them in like that unless they pay in advance to rent the entire place and turn it into their own private space for the duration of their visit,” another blogger noted. Bianca has become known for her daring outfits. She was recently seen in an extremely revealing outfit in which she ditched the top in favor of garter-like straps that only covered her nipples.
