12 Kids and a Dog Recognized for Their Remarkable Crime-Fighting Efforts👏

A group of kids and their dog have proven that any child can be a hero, thanks to their quick thinking and bravery during an extraordinary adventure!

The teens, dubbed the “Tremendous Twelve” online, gained attention for their role in guiding the police helicopter toward two burglars who were fleeing. Much like the adventurous characters in Enid Blyton’s books, they were accompanied by their loyal Yorkshire terrier, Molly, during their crime-busting journey.

On Sunday, the group shared their incredible story, expressing their pride in what they had accomplished. They were enjoying an Easter egg hunt in a field in Capel, Surrey, when they first noticed the helicopter overhead. At the time, they were between the ages of six and twelve.

“It was really noisy, and we saw ‘police’ written on the bottom,” recalled one nine-year-old girl. “Then we saw a man running across the field, pulling his jumper over his head.”

The kids immediately realized something was wrong and began shouting at the helicopter, trying to get the pilot’s attention. Despite their loud calls, the chopper initially flew in the opposite direction.

But then, the kids had an idea. “Let’s get into an arrow,” one of them suggested. The children quickly lay down in the mud, forming a shape on the ground.

After about a minute, their plan worked—the helicopter finally turned and headed in their direction. Thanks to their quick thinking, the kids and their dog helped direct the police to the suspects.
