Sally Field has long been my favorite actress. A talented and highly respected figure, the 76-year-old has had a remarkable career with many notable on-screen partnerships, earning her a fair share of on-screen kisses over the years.
She recently revealed the identity of one of her least favorite co-stars, despite initially being reluctant to share the name. Sally Field is regarded as one of Hollywood’s most accomplished and versatile actors, captivating audiences with her iconic roles in films and TV shows.

Her performance in Steel Magnolias, especially the emotional burial scene, is one I’ll never forget. She masterfully portrayed a woman caught between love, sorrow, and anger.
Sally is also famous for roles in beloved films and TV shows like Mrs. Doubtfire, Erin Brockovich, Smokey and the Bandit, Gidget, The Flying Nun, and many more. Born into a show business family in Pasadena, California, Sally had a rather normal upbringing despite her family’s career. She’s also spoken about the challenges she faced growing up, including a secret abortion at 17 and a difficult relationship with her stepfather, but she remained a humble and strong individual throughout.

Even today, Sally continues to work regularly. In 2020, she appeared in Dispatches From Elsewhere, and in 2022, she joined the cast of Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty as Jessie Buss.
On December 1, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Sally Field was asked by a fan about her worst on-screen kiss. She laughed and hesitated before finally revealing, “This is going to surprise you, hold on.”
The actor in question was Burt Reynolds, her co-star in Smokey and the Bandit. Despite being in a relationship at the time, Field recalled having to “look the other way” during their scenes. She humorously described how Reynolds would often engage in what she called “drooling” while they filmed together.
Field and Reynolds first met while filming Smokey and the Bandit in 1977, and they dated for about five years. Reynolds, who passed away in 2018 at 82, later reflected on their relationship in his memoir, expressing regret that he didn’t work harder to make it last.

In a March interview with Variety, Field explained her reasons for cutting ties with Reynolds later in life, saying, “He was not someone I could be around. He simply wasn’t a good fit for me.” She added that Reynolds had developed a misconception that she was more significant to him than she actually was, which she didn’t want to handle.
I’ve always admired Sally Field’s incredible talent and contributions to the world of entertainment. Truly outstanding!
