After a year filled with challenges, Al Roker and Deborah Roberts are celebrating a year full of love and joy. This past weekend, the couple marked their 28th wedding anniversary, sharing heartfelt tributes on Instagram, reflecting on their journey together and their past relationships.
“28 years ago, @deborahrobertsabc pledged to stand with her fans through thick and thin, good and bad. The family she has given me is the greatest gift,” Roker, 69, wrote in his post, sharing a photo of the two of them. “Happy Anniversary, sweetheart.”

Throughout the previous year, Roberts, 62, stood by her husband’s side, offering unwavering support as he faced life-threatening health crises. She remained his rock through both the highs and lows of their life together.

Roker’s post included a collection of photos, including moments from their wedding day, a picture of their children from when they were younger, and even a snapshot with former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
Roberts also shared a heartfelt tribute, posting a series of images of the couple over the years. One of the photos showed them smiling next to a cake decorated with a New York Times-style headline announcing their wedding.

“Wow! In the past 28 years, we started out with a mix of anxiety, excitement, and hearts full of hope. And it’s been such an amazing adventure,” Roberts wrote. “We’ve learned to cherish every moment, especially after this past year. You have me, and I have you. I’m always by your side. Dearest, happy anniversary. Let’s keep making memories.”

Al and Deborah met in 1990 while working at NBC, and later, Roberts moved to ABC. The couple has two children together, Leila, 24, and Nick, 21, while Roker has a 35-year-old daughter, Courtney, from a previous marriage.
Congratulations to Al and Deborah! Wishing you many more years of love and happiness together.
