American tabloid TMZ has confirmed that 28-year-old Zendaya and Tom Holland are engaged. According to the publication, Tom proposed to his beloved sometime between Catholic Christmas and New Year.
At the same time, he asked Zendaya’s father for her hand several months ago. As TMZ sources explained, Tom is very conservative and thought it would be right. Since then, he was just waiting for the “right moment.” It is noted that Holland did not make a show out of the engagement – the proposal was made in an intimate setting, without witnesses.
Zendaya, as Page Six reports , citing its sources, was stunned: “Tom and Zendaya had been talking about marriage for years, but she still had no idea he was going to propose. <…> Their families are thrilled. Zendaya’s mother and sisters can’t wait for the planning to begin.”
