She was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama for her role in the biopic about opera diva Maria Callas, but the award went to Fernanda Torres for I’m Still Here.
Russian actor Yuri Borisov was also nominated for the prestigious award. However, the winner of Best Supporting Actor was American actor Kieran Culkin for his role in Real Pain.
