A cute video of a dog expressing its joy and gratitude to the woman who saved him has gone viral on the internet.
Since The Dodo released the video, it has received over 6 million views.
The anonymous woman claimed to have discovered the dog chained outside in the sweltering heat. The animal appeared to be severely dehydrated and was without food or drink. The woman described the situation as follows:
“I observed stray dogs that had gone days without food, water, or shelter in temperatures above 100 degrees. They couldn’t move since they were shackled to their feet. I saved them because I couldn’t sleep at night and was waiting for someone to help them.”
After deciding that the cat could not be abandoned, the woman took it in her car and drove it home to receive the required care. During the trip, the dog appeared to be overtaken with joy and thankfulness, while the woman could be heard sobbing.
The woman went on:
He was appreciative, not upset with me, and it devastated me that he was being disregarded. When I began to cry, he once more turned his focus from himself to my needs. I was genuinely astounded that an animal who had just emerged from that circumstance could be so kind.
One of the video’s commenters stated:
“Even though he was abandoned and harmed, he still has the ability to read people and is more compassionate than the typical adult. Although it’s incredible that he understands enough to know what she needs, I believe the dog is attempting to lift her spirits in the only manner it knows how. Anyone who is capable of mistreating something so innocent is deserving of all the difficulties life presents. The person who left this dog did him a favor; they were unworthy of his affection.
It is always preferable to alert animal protection services if you observe an animal in danger because dogs can die in excessively hot temperatures.
