Dayle Haddon was 76 years old.💔😓Canadian actress and supermodel Dayle Haddon passed away due to poisoning.

The tragic incident occurred yesterday, December 27, at the home of actress Ryan Haddon in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. A call was made to emergency services reporting that a 76-year-old man was found unconscious in a detached guest house on the estate. Upon arrival, rescuers transported the man to the hospital. During a further search of the house, Dayle Haddon was discovered on the second floor, and attempts to save her were unsuccessful.

“The source of carbon monoxide was a heating device, a boiler. We are treating Dayle Haddon’s death as a case of carbon monoxide poisoning,” said Detective Jonathan Koretsky.

The sergeant noted that the concentration of carbon monoxide in the house was so high that two doctors had to be hospitalized for poisoning, and a police officer received medical attention at the scene. All three are currently in stable condition.

The house where the tragedy occurred belongs to actor Mark Blucas and his wife Ryan Haddon, the late actress’s daughter. The historic estate, built in 1711, was purchased by the couple in 2012 for a million dollars, and they had been restoring it. Firefighters explained that the high concentration of carbon monoxide was caused by a malfunction in the heating system.

The supermodel’s daughter confirmed her death. “The bright light that Dayle was has dimmed in this earthly world. I have no doubt it shines just as brightly as always, where it is needed most. She was a woman of great power, yet gentle and attentive to everyone,” Ryan said of her mother.

Dayle Haddon was born on May 26, 1948, in Montreal. At the age of 18, she won the “Miss Montreal” contest. The peak of her modeling career was in the 1970s and 1980s. She appeared on the covers of Vogue Paris, Cosmopolitan, and other prominent magazines. Harper’s Bazaar twice included her in the list of the ten most beautiful women in the world.

Haddon was the face of L’Oreal’s anti-aging line for 15 years. She was one of the first women to receive a contract for cosmetic promotion at the age of over 35. Later, Dayle became a UNICEF ambassador and founded the charity organization WomenOne, focused on educating girls and women.

Her acting career included more than 30 projects. She is best known for her role as Pearl Prophet in the 1989 film Cyborg. Haddon also appeared in films such as Two Women, Bullets Over Broadway, Fiesta, and others.

Four years ago, Norma Cappalli, the 1960 Miss World titleholder, was struck by a bus at a stop in the center of her hometown, Buenos Aires. She was severely injured and taken to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed a skull fracture, and she was placed in a medically induced coma. Despite the efforts of medical staff, the supermodel passed away.
