Fashionista Julia Fox is getting closer to the world of art. The actress participated in a performance by Yayoi Kusama as part of her exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia. Julia, 34, shared images on her social media where she lies among crimson flowers in a completely transparent bodysuit. These photos immediately reminded fans of the iconic scene from American Beauty featuring Kevin Spacey, where Mena Suvari’s character lies in a bed of millions of red roses. Even Mena Suvari herself praised Julia’s new performance, leaving a heartwarming comment:
“It’s incredibly beautiful and wonderful to see that our film continues to inspire. Thank you for thinking of me, and thank you for all your love and support. It means so much to me,” she wrote.

Julia’s transparent bodysuit and other floral outfits for the performance were created by the Melbourne-based brand Wackie Ju with the help of designer Jonty Knight. The actress’s Victorian-style makeup was done by makeup artist Meg MacConville, while her hairstyle was crafted by stylist John Novotna. The shoot was styled by image maker Brianna Landalor.

Fox’s fans were thrilled with the reimagining of the legendary movie scene:
“Mom continues to be mom.”
“Just imagine being Yayoi Kusama’s muse… Julia is otherworldly,” they commented.
